Communication & Public speaking Courses
Good speaking is your most enduring job skill. This course will provide you with the instruction, experience, and practice to develop and deliver compelling presentations. Drawing from the established knowledge in communication, rhetoric, linguistics, and argumentation, each course balances proven ideas with lots of speech practice.
The courses in this specialization should help speakers at all levels. If you are nervous about public speaking, this is for you! I have spent an entire career helping nervous novice speakers grow into confident communicators. We slowly work up specific skills that you can practice multiple times before putting together a longer speech.
Learners will design, practice, record, and receive feedback on speeches that they can use in their professional and personal lives.
Painting Courses
Painting lesson: For 2h30, give free rein to your imagination, through your gestures and your colors. No experience is necessary: Just a dose of curiosity, a dash of imagination, a creative mood and your enthusiasm.
Through this program, we guide you, advise you if necessary in your creation. You leave with your work done on a canvas and acrylic paint of good quality.
Videography/ Photography courses
Whether your camera is a Smartphone or DSLR, a Compact or Mirrorless model, you will learn to gain control of exposure and understand the fundamentals of composition, while exploring documentary and creative concepts to make the kinds of photographs and videography you have always wanted.
This Specialization covers a broad range of fundamental principles in photography, and videography, from camera control to principles of composition and creativity, providing you with a foundation for growth in making photographs you’ll be proud to share.
In the Capstone, you will develop a final project of photographs or videography related to your individual needs, whether practical or purely expressive and share ongoing feedback with fellow learners.

DEBATE CLUB
Would you like to know the main advantages of belonging to our Debate Club?
- You will learn to organize your ideas and structure the arguments of your speech to make them more understandable and convincing.
- You will increase your ability to synthesize.
- You will practice active listening and learn to analyze the position of others with respect and empathy. As the motto of the CIS University Debate Club says: “I raise my arguments, not my voice”.
- You will improve your research techniques and your digital skills, since in order to support your speech with concrete data you will have to be able to analyze and contrast information from different sources.
- You will learn to detect and refute fallacies with weighty arguments, contrasted data and diplomacy.
Cultural Exchange Club
A cultural exchange club is a group of people who come together to learn about and experience different cultures from around the world. The club typically organizes events and activities that promote cross-cultural understanding and communication, such as language classes, cooking workshops, music and dance performances, and discussions about customs and traditions. Members of a cultural exchange club may also participate in international travel or host foreign visitors to facilitate cultural exchange on a personal level. The ultimate goal of a cultural exchange club is to foster mutual respect and appreciation for diverse cultures and to promote global citizenship.
Book Club
A book club is a group of people who meet regularly to discuss books they have read. Cinema Club

Psycho Club
The psychology club will bring together a group of young people to discuss and learn about topics related to psychology. The club can include people with a wide range of interests and levels of expertise in the field of psychology. Members of the club will gather to engage in discussions, presentations, and other activities related to psychology, such as guest speakers, workshops, and field trips. They will also participate in community service projects or research initiatives related to psychology. The goal of a psychology club is to create a forum for the exploration and discussion of psychological topics, as well as to provide opportunities for social interaction, education, and professional development among its members.
